The XXXIII Shaliapin’s Festival is over

The program of XXXIII International Opera Festival named after F.I. Shalyapin  is nearing the end. Today, February 17, a final gala concert featuring the stars of world opera takes place. The concert program - arias from operas by Puccini, Verdi, Gershwin, Tchaikovsky, as well as fragments of rarely performed operas by Mascagni, Gounod, Ponchielli and other composers.

The participants of  gala concert will be the soloists of the Metropolitan Opera and  M.Dzhalil  Tatar State Academic Theatre   Albina Shagimuratova,  a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Oksana Shilova, the singer from Turkey Deniz Yetim, a finalist of the "grand opera" Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, tenor Ahmed Agadi and Sergey Skorohodov of the Mariinsky Theatre, Georgi Oniani (Germany) and Ronald Summ (UK), baritone Vasily Ladyuk (Moscow Novaya Opera after E.V.Kolobov) and bass Alexei Tikhomirov (Helikon Opera, the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia).

The audience  will hear Elizabeth’s aria from the opera "Don Carlos",  Bolero  of Elena from the opera "The Sicilian Vespers" by Giuseppe Verdi, Juliet’s  Waltz from the opera "Romeo and Juliet" by Charles Gounod, Clara’s  Lullaby from the opera "Porgy and Bess" by George Gershwin,  the aria  of  Lucia from the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" by Gaetano Donizetti,  the   aria from the opera "Otello" by Giuseppe Verdi's, "La Gioconda"   by Amilcare Ponchielli, "Turandot" by Giacomo Puccini, "Cavalleria Rusticana" by Pietro Mascagni, "Iolanta" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and others.  Famous duets will sound  as well as scenes from the opera "Porgy and Bess" and "The Elixir of Love."

At the gala concert to be attended  by  special guests - the virtuoso clarinetist Giampiero Sobrino (Italy) and the jazz pianist Daniel Kramer. The choir (chief choirmaster - Love Draznin) and orchestra under direction  of  Salavatova Renata and Marco Boemi (Italy)   will take part in the concert.
