Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre to present Lucia de Lammermoor in Moscow

(Kazan, April 2, Tatar-inform). The Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre will tonight in the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow present its production Lucia de Lammermoor. The lead parts will be performed by Albina Shagimuratova (Lucia) and Chingis Ayusheev (Edgar). The conductor of Distinguished Artiste of Russia Renat Salavatov.

The play was included in 4 nominations of Golden Mask national theatre award: Best Opera Play, Best Direction, Best Female Part, Best Stage Designer in Musical Theatre.

A total of over 130 people are engaged in the production.

The Lucia de Lammermoor opera by Donizetti was staged in Kazan in September 2010 and based on the Walter Scott’s classical novel The Bride of Lammermoor.

According to critics and the public, Lucia de Lammermoor is a great success of the Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The performance begins at 19:00.
