Lyubov Draznina
Merited Arts Worker of Tatarstan

She graduated from Kazan Conservatoire in 1984 (Professor S.A. Kazachkov’s class).

From 1986 to 2006 she taught conducting and singing at the Kazan N. Zhiganov State Conservatoire (faculty of Choral conducting)

From 1996 to 2009 she was head of the department of choral conducting at the Kazan I.V. Aukhadeev Music College, leader of the College Choir which, under her leadership, won lst prize at the International Competition of Youth Choirs, and was a participant in, among other competitions, the International Moscow Autumn Festival. It also participated in first performances of the works of contemporary composers.

Since 2006, she has been Chief Chorus Master at the Tatar Musa Jalil State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. She has conducted the following, among other, productions at this Theatre: Rigoletto (2009), Madama Butterfly (2009), Lucia di Lammermoor (2010), Carmen (2011), Evgeny Onegin (2012), Turandot (2012), Aida (2013), Il Barbiere di Siviglia (2014), L’Elisir d’amore (2014), Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana or The Wheel of Fortune (2014).
